Well after another good night with Mummy, keeping her awake for most it, this morning I went down to the unit whilst Mummy had breakfast.

After breakfast Mummy fell asleep until about 10.30 and the nice nurses looked after me. When Mummy woke up she met up with one of the nice nurses who said: "would you like to go home today or tomorrow?!"

I don't think it was a difficult decision!

Daddy, Dan & Anna came up his afternoon when Dan had finished playing cricket to pick me up and we got home at about 6pm.

I have settled into my (new) home well and I am looking forward to starting my family life with my wonderful Daddy, Mummy, big brother and big sister.

Glenn, Charlie, Dan, Anna and most of all Harry, would like to thank everyone that have helped us (in all sorts of ways), offered messages of support and given wonderful gifts during these difficult last 4 weeks.

We also want to give a very special thanks to all of the dedicated, unbelievably supportive nurses at the Somerset Neonatal Intensive Care Unit who have been absolutely fantastic. We are all in awe of the awesome work you do for all the families who's lives you touch.

Today was a good day, again!

Mummy was given a room to stay in for the next few days, so I will get to spend all my time with her.

Mummy has brought in some of my own clothes which I am looking forward to wearing. Some of them are presents that have been bought for me by some If my friends and relatives.

I was measured today, I am now up to 41.2cm long and my head circumference is now 31.5cm.

Daddy, Dan & Anna brought Mummy back with a bag with things to stay over. They spent part of the evening with me giving me hugs.

I hope I don't tire Mummy out too much the next couple of evenings.

After my first night sleeping in the and room as Mum, well there ws a bit of sleeping at times, I had a nice day today.

Anna brought me a soft book with a mirror to look at in my cot when I wake up, Nanna brought me a brightly coloured Winnie the Pooh sleep suit, vest & hat and Daddy brought me 3 sleep suits. One said I love my Mummy, one said I love my Daddy. Mummy choose the I Love My Daddy one as the first sleep suit I have worn that is my own!

Anna gave me her first bottle feed today and helped change me. She did a great job.

Looking forward to another night with Mummy tonight. If I get a good full feed late on tonight, perhaps I will sleep a bit longer!?

Today was Nanna's birthday and Daddy brought her up early evening to see me. I had a lovely Winnie the Pooh baby grow on and we had a nice hug.

I had 3 bottle feeds overnight and I managed to gulp it all down.Today I had a few good feeds from mummy too so I am hoping to have put on even more weight when they weigh me tonight.

Anna came to see me with Nanna and Daddy and she gave me one of her nice hugs too.

At the end of their visit, just before they had to go home the nice nurse removed my feeding tube, hopefully for the last time as I am feeding well from Mummy and bottles!

Is this the "home straight"???????

Today I started something new, feeding from a bottle. I am still having milk from Mummy but if I use a bottle Daddy, Dan & Anna can also help feed me.

I am now on something that is put in my milk to help me put more weight on but it still tastes nice.

Mummy spent most of the day with me and Daddy came to see me on the way home from work. Nannie & Grandad brought Dan along too and we had more cuddles.

Today I finally came off the last of my monitors, the apnea monitor which was checking I remember to keep breathing!

It has been a quiet day overall but I loved spending it with Mummy.

Tomorrow the nice nurses are threatening to give me a bath. Sounds fun!

I am loving my activity tree with the animals on it but I am not sure what the animals are. I think one is a monkey, one is a zebra but I am not sure what the other one is.

Could be a hippo?

I hope you have seen the new survey on the right side of the page and the results of the other ones. It seems that most of you think I look like my big brother and that I am going to have curly hair! We will see.

Today Daddy had to go back to work, so he dropped Mummy off to see me before he went to work.

I was weighed overnight and good news, I had put on 97grammes since my last weigh in. That means I am up to 3lb 7.38oz.

Mummy gave me a good feed again this morningand then this afternoon Nanna and Opi came to see me.

Opi gave me a hug and said I was bigger than he expected and a "proper baby"!

Daddy dropped in to see me on the way home from work after Mummy had gone home with Nanna & Opi.

I had a lovely hug with him and then I left him a nice present in my nappy! Nice!

Well after only 2 days in my hot cot I am out of it and into a "normal" cot! Hopefully I can keep my temperature normal and stay in it.

I am in a vest and a hat to help. Mummy put me in a stripy "I love my Mummy" outfit.

Mummy, Daddy and Anna came this morning and then Nannie and Grandad came this afternoon. I had lots of nice hugs.

This afternoon I was very sleepy when Mummy wanted to feed me so the nice nurse picked me up and tickled me to wake me up! How rude!!!!

Getting weighed tonight, I wonder what progress I have made? . . .

Today my big brother Dan came to see me along with Mummy, Daddy and Nanna.

Nanna went off for a shopping trip before visiting times, Mummy says she likes shopping.

Dan helped change my nappy and gave me a wash.

I managed 2 really big feeds in the middle of the day, taking some milk from Mummy as well as a full amount down my tube.

All good for growing bigger!

Mummy brought a really soft blanket with elephants on it to cover me over whilst having a hug and feeding. It was really nice.

Looking forward to seeing Anna, Nannie and Grandad again tomorrow.
